Samy's Camera presents PhotoCon LA! Southern California's Largest Consumer Trade Show for all things Photo and Cinema! Los Angeles, CA – Samy's Camera, Southern California's largest camera retailer, is pleased to announce sponsorship of PHOTOCON LA. Billed as a ‘Photo & Cinema Extravaganza', PhotoCon LA will take place on May 21 and 22, 2016 at the Magic Box at the Reef in Downtown Los Angeles. Over 50 of the photographic and video industry's top brands including Canon, Nikon, Sony and GoPro will be in attendance to make the event Southern California's largest ever photo and cinema consumer trade show. Over two days, the vast 60,000 square foot space provided by the Reef will be packed with a virtual Who's Who of the Los Angeles photographic and cinema communities providing entertainment, education and opportunity for all levels of photography enthusiasts and professionals. Many of the most respected brands in photography and video will be on hand to offer exhibition and demonstration of their camera and photography related products. Most of who will be offering exclusive deals and discounts only available to PhotoCon LA attendees. Specials guests will be sharing their experience as photography and video professionals. Speakers and instructors from all over the United States will be presenting their work, style and techniques in a lineup that will cover all aspects of photography and cinema. Celebrities from the worlds of sport, entertainment, social media and more will also be in attendance. PhotoCon LA's theme for 2016 will be a celebration of Samy's Camera 40 years in business in Southern California. The legendary camera retailer has been a part of the Los Angeles photographic community since opening their doors in 1976. Samy's Camera's flagship location on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles is an iconic part of the city's landscape. The retailer will be offering amazing deals on cameras, photographic and video equipment to attendees of PhotoCon LA. All arms of Samy's Camera's business, including Samy's Camera Rentals and Samy's DV & Edit, will be represented at the event including Samy's Camera Photo School who will be offering a full program of educational events and photography classes throughout the weekend.
