53rd Annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest
Log Sawing & Stein Holding Contests-held several times throughout the day both Saturdays and Sundays. The Safe Slam Beer Drinking & Beer Pong contests are held  Saturday evenings. Outside Budenstrasse (Game Booths, Exhibitors, Vendors) 

Food: Sausages, Sauerkraut, Potato Salad, Dumplings, Giant Pretzels, Brat Burger, Half-roasted Chicken, Apple Strudel

Beers on Tap: Warsteiner Pilsner, Special Edition - Oktoberfest, Warsteiner Dunkel, Franziskaner Weissbier, König Ludwig Hefeweisen, Spaten Premium Lager and Spaten - Oktoberfest

Bands performing: Die Sauerkrauts, Ladyhosen, and Da Stube  Buben. Plus, Die Gemütlichen Schühplattler Dancers, a traditional German dance troupe will perform customary dances on select dates. The Lithuanian folk-dance ensemble Retro returns to showcase its array of authentic traditional Lithuanian dance choreography mixed with other dances such as polka, waltz, foxtrot and even tango. A second stage located near the outdoor beer garden will have various cover bands performing classic rock and country standards every weekend throughout the nine-weekend stint. A full entertainment lineup will be released in late July.

Big Bear Lake hosts its annual Oktoberfest, which takes place at the resort's Convention Center. This Bavarian-style celebration features America's highest elevation biergarten; authentic German food, music, and dance groups; activities, including America's only stein-holding contests; and a fun zone for children and families. A gift store on location sells silly hats, glasses, beads, steins and other objects. The event includes fantastic mountain contests such as log sawing.
