28 years strong in 2024! The 28th Annual Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Oktoberfest celebrates the German roots of Encinitas.

Held along a six-block marketplace at El Camino Real and Mountain Vista Drive in Encinitas, you're invited to the Encinitas Oktoberfest, a free, family event featuring traditional Bavarian dancers and bands and vendors galore. Browse the works of artisans with unique arts and craft items, taste authentic German food and, of course, beer will be served in a large tent with a view of the entertainment stage.
A family fun zone offers children's games and a ceremonial parade and German games add to the ongoing festivities.
The Encinitas Oktoberfest is a free, family event emphasizing arts and crafts, authentic refreshments, entertainment, exhibits and Chamber of Commerce businesses.
This event which spans six blocks, attracts over 30,000 in attendance. It pays tribute to the area's German heritage, which dates back to farming colonies settled in the late 19th century. More importantly, it is a great opportunity to bring together the community of Encinitas.
More than 15,000 guests are expected to attend this family-oriented and pet-friendly festival Oktoberfest in San Diego County.
Eat, drink and be merry and shop for unique crafts, jewelry and other handmade goods. As lively oompah music plays in the background, festival goers will be transported to Munich as steins of golden frothy beers flow freely and the aroma of through the air.
