Launched in 2010, this event was one of the most enjoyable with its outdoor setting in a beautiful park. If you live in or are visiting Southern California, check this one out. Carnival rides, bands, food, all with one admission.  A Munich Style Bavarian Festival featuring Polka Bands , Carnival rides in a park setting. A pay one price admission , all the rides and entertainment FREE with admission. 

A new event held this year in El Dorado Park in Long Beach features 17 carnival rides, unlimited, German Bands, foods, and the amazing grounds of El Dorado Park (just off the 605 Freeway) in Long Beach. O-Enterprises that puts together the summer Lobster Festival, went over to German and saw the real Oktoberfest, then brought it back to Long Beach and is holding it in the park. The parking admission charged by the city of Long Beach was paid for by the Oktoberfest event, so you don't pay to park, and you get a full day of entertainment with many kiddie rides, as well.

Held at El Dorado Park (at Fwy. 605 and Wardlow Road) in Long Beach, Calif., visitors to Oktoberfest enjoy the ever-popular Biergarten, German bands, beer and brats, authentic German meals, FREE carnival rides (with admission), games, giant food court, children's area, dance floor, arts & crafts, non-stop entertainment and much more to create the largest Oktoberfest Festival outside of Munich, right here in Southern California.
