7 block street festival returns 

Stage and on street entertainment, food, microbrews, wine and root beer. Oaktoberfest is FREE to the public with beverage tickets available for a minimum donation. 

 Highlighting this years festival will be a traditional Biergarten, the Head-Royce School Family Strasse featuring a Kid's Area with Root Biergarten, German style homebrew competition featured in the homebrewers' alley, and vendors from around the Bay.

Oaktoberfest in the Dimond is the Oakland-spun, multicultural event in which the mayor usually taps the first keg in a traditional Munich style Oktoberfest kick off. Bavarian bands take to the stage while Golden Gate Bavarian Dancers take to the streets.
