Placerville City Council In  2022 declared that all Non-Profit 501(c)(6) organizations are no longer permitted to utilize Downtown Main Street for Fundraiser and/or Community Events. This came as a shock to the Placerville Downtown Association, which built many of the events on Main Street over past decades. For all of us who enjoyed those great celebrations we can only say, Bah, humbug!

This fun, Annual event will feature music (complete with Chicken Dance and polkas!), Wiener Dog Races $15-20 to enter your pooch,) Server's Races, Costume Contest, Children's Games, Beer-related Games, Bavarian Dance Demos, a Silent Auction and (of course) sausages, sauerkraut, strudel & beer. Sponsored by Placerville Downtown Association. Admission is free.
