Vacaville's 5th Annual Oktoberfest! This event is hosted by the DVBID. If you haven't been to one of the first Oktoberfest events, you've missed a lot of fun and great food. Bakery folks sell German delicacies for all to enjoy. Their brats, sauerkraut, pretzels, potato salad and other mouth watering dishes go fast. The first year they had 500 servings and sold out right away, last year they had over 750 and it was gone by mid afternoon. They are ramping up again for a wonderful day in Town Square again this year but you should still probably come early to make sure you get to taste these once a year treats. There will be "live" music again this year with the famous Eidel Weiss Band playing most of the afternoon. Details are still being finalized on what other entertainment takes place during the day. The event runs from 10 am to 6 pm in Town Square.
