31st Annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo  May 2-4, 2014

Fiery Fiesta Get Down in Old Town!  The annual celebration is the spiciest weekend of the year. 3 stages with live entertainment, over 40 bands, traditional ballet folklorico dancers, Lucha Libre performances, equestrian shows, a mercado with over 100 retail and food booths, beer garden and Lowrider Lane !  Street closures in the entire Historic Old Town area with a transformation of the streets into the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration north of the border.

Old Town San Diego – This Fiesta is going to get loco! This Cinco de Mayo head over to Old Town for the 29th Annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo presented by Corona & Corona Light. This FREE fiesta takes place on the Cinco weekend, celebrating San Diego's Hispanic heritage. It is the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the nation! 

On Cinco de Mayo there is something to get the party started for everyone of all ages. Those of you who are looking for a cerveza filled day will want to head over to the beer garden for an ice cold Corona or Corona Light. For the little ninos and ninas there will be a carnival, a petting zoo complete with pony rides and a plethora of interactive and educational activities provided by non-profit organizations! You’ll want to cruise by the tricked out low riders to check out their modifications, creative paint jobs and their impressive hydraulics! Everywhere you go music will be playing and you can salsa over to one of  the main stages to hear authentic mariachis, Latin rock n roll, DJs and more! How about a free soccer game? 

On Sunday continue the celebration with more live entertainment and keep your day mellow by sauntering down El Mercado to bargain for sombreros, handmade leather pieces, beautiful jewelry and many more treasures that will line San Diego Avenue. 

There won’t be any time for a siesta with so many specialty stores and museums to explore in Historic Old Town.
