GET READY!! Forty of LA's top food trucks will convene at Santa Clarita's Central Park for one huge food truck festival.

Look who's coming-- Dim Sum Truck, Clean Street Food,  Shrimp Pimp, The Canter's Truck, Indiana Jones Chow Truck, fresh fries, Fatburger, Great Balls on Tires, nomnom truck, Mac 'n Roll, Baby's Badass Burgers, komodo, Tapa Boy Food Truck, Hungry Nomad, Me So Hungry, Ta Bom, Dell's, Border Grill Truck, Louks Greek Gourmet, Fishlips Sushi, Vizzi Visionary Cuisine, The Knock-Out Taco Truck, Greenz on Wheels, The Greasy Weiner, Ahn - Joo a Korean Snack Bar, Crepe'n Around, No Reservations Catering, Papa's Tapas, No Tomatoes, Don Chow Tacos, Ragin' Cajun Cafe on Wheels, Slammin' Sliders, Kabob n Roll Mediterranean, Fry Smith, and the Toasty Meat Truck.

While food trucks traditionally were called "roach coach" in Los Angeles, that perception no longer exists, nor does the meals on wheels persona.

Food personalities and famous chefs have purchased their own food trucks and can take gourmet tastes on the road to special events. But seldom will you see 40 food trucks convene in one place.

Food truck dates are popular at UCLA  where students line up to buy their favorite, affordable gourmet. You save the tip you'd pay in a restaurant and get a la carte items that normally wouldn't be so affordable or accessible in fine restaurants.

If you think Santa Clarita doesn't love its food, they crave it and they rave about the Western Chuckwagon cooking at the Cowboy Festival, too.
