Beard Growing Contest

Facial hair has never been more popular! The 3rd Annual Grubstakes Beard Growing Contest has many categories for a fun time. The growing contest is underway, yet there is still time to get into the existing beard contest. Judging will be at the main stage at 2pm, Saturday afternoon, May 26. Stop by the Community Services Office for more information, or you can call (760) 369-7211.

Horseshoes Tournament

Tourney starts: 12 p.m.
Cost: $15/team.
Double elimination tournament follows NHPA official rules. Awards will be given for 1st & 2nd place winners in each division. For more information, call the Town of Yucca Valley at (760) 369-7211.

Table Tennis Tournament
(Presented by the Town of Yucca Valley)

This double elimination tournament will follow the USTTA official rules. Singles and Doubles games are scheduled. Awards will be given for 1st place winners in each division. Participants should wear tennis shoes and bring their own equipment . Pre-register online or at the YV Community Center. Participants may also register on the day of the event. Call the Community Services office at (760) 369-7211 for more information.

Grubstake 10K, 5K, & 2K Run
(Presented by the Town of Yucca Valley)

Celebrate the annual Grubstake Run! All ages are welcome. Awards will be presented in the 10K & 5K event. The 2K is non-competitive. The event is held at the Yucca Valley High School, 7600 Sage Ave.

Sunday
Race Time: 5K & 10K - 8 a.m. 2K - 8:30 a.m.
Cost: $20/includes an event t-shirt (youth sizes available only if pre-registered)
$2 discount for participants over 59 or under 12 years of age
Add $5 after May 20.
Register online, or at the Yucca Valley Community Center, or on race day (7 - 7:45 a.m.)
