Winter Rink Downtown is a non-refrigerated skating rink made of a composite material similar to ice.
This joint venture between Viva Downtown and City of Redding is an exciting holiday entertainment addition to the city. Kim Niemer, City of Redding Director of Community Services, approached Viva Downtown with this opportunity for a rink. John Truitt, Viva Downtown Executive Director, seized the opportunity to provide winter holiday fun which is expected to attract visitors to the Downtown area.
