The Downtown Sacramento Holiday Ice Rink has been a seasonal landmark on The Kay for over 30 years. Its location takes advantage of natural tree shade which offers relief for the eyes from the reflecting white ice. It is located at Ali Youssefi Square.

Sessions start when the rink opens and every 2 hours thereafter. The session lasts for 1 hour 45 minutes (15 minute closure for Zamboni)

Opened in 1991 by the City of Sacramento the seasonal ice rink is open annually from November to January. Skate and locker rentals
