Chinese Hawkers Sell Bootleg Merchandise

Capitalism seems to thrive in China where hawkers aggressively try to sell bootleg merchandise such as spin-off designer purses, watches and other items.

I actually know people who bought the watches these street merchants sold. The watches fell apart within a day. But since the vendors are nowhere to be found, you're certainly not counting on a refund.  Some tourists feel cheated, but since they paid so little for the cheap junk, it's a lesson to be learned.
