ANAHEIM: Disneyland At the Disneyland Resort, guests will enjoy the thrills of the newly reopened and enhanced Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, along with dazzling summer entertainment that, beginning in mid-June, will include "Frozen" characters in a special pre-parade float for "Mickey's Soundsational Parade." The pre-parade unit features Princess Anna and snowman Olaf frolicking in the snow while Queen Elsa is depicted in her icy domain. Fireworks every night, special fireworks for 4th of July. Other summer entertainment in Disneyland includes daily performances of the enchanting "Mickey and the Magical Map" stage show, nightly performances of both "Fantasmic!" and "Magical" fireworks, featuring aerial flights by both Tinker Bell and Dumbo, and a variety of new entertainment daily in Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree. At Disney California Adventure, guests continue to enjoy the thrills and fun of Cars Land and the after-dark excitement of "World of Color" and "Mad T Party."

BUENA PARK: Knott's Berry Farm Calico Mine Ride reopens on June 14, 2014. The top-to-bottom refurbishment began in early January and includes dozens of new richly-detailed animatronic figures, state-of-the art lighting, audio, and all-new special effects. When the classic railroad adventure reopens in June, passengers will embark on the most immersive mining journeys the "Calico Mining Company" has ever offered. CARLSBAD: Legoland California Chima Waterpark opened for Summer 2014. Legends of Chima Water Park presented by Cartoon Network includes a Lion Temple Wave Pool which is guarded by an 18 foot high Lego lion arch created out of 260,000 Lego bricks. The floating mountain, is the heart of Lion Temple Wave Pool soaring 40-feet high releasing 400 gallons of water every minute for guests to splash about and enjoy. The floating mountain, known for providing the great energy source "CHI" to eight animal tribes in Chima, is 23-feet tall, 13-feet wide and weighs more than 11,000 pounds. It is included with the price of waterpark admission, for use of two water parks.

SAN DIEGO: The San Diego Zoo Safari Park 's Summer Safari Asian Celebration presented by LivingSocial kicks off on Sat., June 21, 2014, and runs through Sun., Aug. 17. The annual summer event, with an all-new Asian flair, offers animal encounters and entertainment, with extended Park hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. From the moment guests enter the Safari Park, they are immersed in Asian-themed festivities and up-close encounters with animals, including Sumatran tigers at the new Tull Family Tiger Trail. Tiger Trail features three separate yards for the big cats with rocks for climbing, ponds for swimming, deadwood trees to use as scratching posts and long grasses for catnaps. New acts including Chinese acrobats, Japanese Taiko drummers and martial arts masters headline the list of Summer Safari entertainment, providing interactive experiences for Park guests. Performances take place in Safari Base Camp with multiple shows scheduled from noon to 7 p.m. each day. The Golden Tiger acrobat troupe features contortion, chair acts and foot juggling; the Red Panda acrobats, with entertainer Wayne Huey, blend comedy with acrobatic feats; the White Dragon Martial Arts group provides skilled martial art demonstrations and traditional dance performances with Chinese dragon puppets; and the Taiko Project brings the art of Japanese Taiko drumming, a broad range of Japanese percussion instruments, to the Park. SANTA CLARA: Great America Fireworks Extravaganza in Redwood Amphitheater.
Fireworks Extravaganza on May 25, July 5, August 31, and Fridays & Saturdays in July and August at 9:45 p.m. Make sure to turn your head to the skies high above California's Great America to see the fireworks extravaganza to celebrate our great nation! UNIVERSAL CITY: Universal Studios Hollywood "Despicable Me" attraction called Minion Mayhem will begin transforming riders into furry yellow Minions and taking them on a topsy-turvy excursion. Also opening is a water-themed play area called Super Silly Fun Land, a version of the seaside carnival from "Despicable Me."

VALENCIA: 6 Flags Magic Mountain Fireworks Show, closes at 9 p.m. Full Throttle Nights concerts on select nights. New kids ride Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers open at revitalized Bugs Bunny World this summer. This new pint-sized ride will be our fourth roller coaster -- more than any other U.S. theme park! Kids and parents hop aboard the miniature hot rod race cars together and enjoy an action-packed ride. You'll experience plenty of drops and thrills as you sprint around the grand prix track.

VALLEJO: 6 Flags Discovery Kingdom Cirque Dreams Splashtastic - the most amazing show above H20 – returns for its second year at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom from June 14 through August 17. The new Tsunami Soaker which is like a classic teacup ride but with a twist. Sitting on a circular floor atop a pool of water, the floor will lower into the water until it disappears below, allowing your boat to float and splash around. Your raft will spin in circles while the other boats twist around you, creating a disorienting but fun experience. Each seat on the boat is armed with a giant water gun so every rider can participate in the action. While your boat rotates around the wet course, you can engage in an adrenaline-pumping water battle, shooting your pistol at other riders as well as innocent bystanders, soaking them with bursts of water.
