California Cat Shows

There are more cat pets than dogs in the U.S. and if you’re lucky enough to be one, your chances of being pampered are pretty high. In fact, of the 86 million cats that have loving homes, only one in six has a weight problem — a much better record than pet owners. One in three children is overweight, as are two in three adults. It’s hard not to love fascinating felines but still, more than half of households don’t own a pet. If you want to see cats — minus the responsibility and costs of care — head for a cat show or pet expo. You can also chip in to help cats find a home.
