Bathed in a Field of Light, the Paso Robles Sensorio art installation is open to the public through early January 2020. Designed by internationally known artist Bruce Munro, the attraction includes 58,800 fiber-optics lit spheres that illuminate the landscape in subtle morphing color blooms. They create an undulating effect on the beautiful Central Coast landscape known for its gentle, rolling hills and oak-studded scenery.
Formally known as Bruce Munro Field of Light at Sensorio, this ticketed attraction offers timed intervals that make for a more pleasurable experience. The fields, pathways and facilities say they are ADA accessible so practically anybody can see them. Each night a musician performs music for guest entertainment.
The expected high today in Paso Robles is 88 degrees, but by the time the sun goes down for the event the temperature drops to a pleasant 70 degrees — with no rain in sight!
Note: the temperature continues to drop for a night time low of 45 degrees, so it’s always wise to take a jacket.
