Patriotic Californians wave American flags, watch fireworks and march in parades on the 4th of July while a different tradition celebrates Japanese culture and animation during the holiday. Anime Expo in Los Angeles July 1-4, 2016 features far-out costumes, cosplay, k-pop bands, and ‘direct from Japan’ three of the top maids of maidreamin, the largest Japanese maid cafe chain (with 17 locations and over 400 servants.) The talented ladies plan to put on a special show for Anime Expo’s Maid Cafe.  Anime, the Japanese word for animation, is wildy poular in California where the four day festival anticipates close to 100,000 people.  Here are some anime & comic cons coming to California!
