California, the nation’s top grower of asparagus, is home to San Joaquin Asparagus Festival April 12-14, 2019 at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in Stockton. While Asparagus Pizza is on the menu at this event, you can alternately head for Lemoore’s Central Valley Pizza Festival April 12-14 at Lemoore City Park where pizza is the main dish. Ideally situated in California’s Central Valley, the festivals are approx. 155 miles distance from each other.
