A friend visiting from Sacramento this weekend said it looks like rain. Say what? It never rains in Southern California and if it does, that’s something to celebrate. Although we’d love to bring it on (the rain,) a double-check of the weather report shows a very warm weekend according to Accuweather (weather.com was the one predicting rain). - 2 Quilt Shows in San Diego and Los Banos
- 3 Greek Festivals: Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson will be at the Los Angeles Greek Festival where they have donated the grand raffle prize of a Brunswick Pool Table. Other Greek festivals are taking place in Cardiff by the Sea and Santa Cruz.
- 4 Fantastic Fairs: Auburn Gold Country Fair, Madera District Fair, Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair and L.A. County Fair
- 5 Seafood festivals from the Sacramento Bayou (Delta) to the Long Beach Shoreline.
