Rushing for Fun at Gold Rush Ghost Town

BODIE, CALIF. — There’s a saying, “you can’t take it with you,” and nowhere is this more true than Bodie State Historic Park. Bodie Day (August 12, 2017)  in the ghost town east of the Sierra Nevada mountain range celebrates the local gold rush and man, William Bodey, who froze to death in a blizzard before he could enjoy the riches his find assured.
