Boots, Bulls and Brawn, It’s Cal Rodeo Time

Published on: March 13, 2019

Like to watch bull or would you rather eat it? On March 25, 2019, head for the Oakdale Testicle Festival, an annual foodie event that serves up mean heapings of bull for guests to enjoy. Yum!

If you prefer watching the sport, head to PBR (Professional Bull Riding – website, where  you may see a fine tribute to Luke Perry. The actor has passed away but once said that among the many athletes he played he was most connected to the bull riders of the PBR. While the organization pays homage to a “Beverly Hills Cowboy,” also known for his role in “Beverly Hills 90210,” they invite nominations for the cowboy in your life to win tickets to a PBR event. There are actually several coming up in California: Fresno Invitational March 22-23 and Bakersfield Buck Off April 6.
