- SANTA CLARITA Cowboy Festival April 20-24, 2016 in Old Town Newhall features Sourdough Slim, Dave Stamey and James Intveld.
- INDIO Stagecoach Music Festival April 29-May 1, 2016 kicks up the desert dust with Carrie Underwood, Dale Watson, Emmylou Harris, Eric Paslay, Lee Ann Womack, The Band Perry, The Doobie Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band and dozens more.
- NORCO “Horse Town” Horse Week April 22-May 1 features plenty of horsin’ around with a rodeo, lawn mower racing, beard contest and horse parade.
- LONG BEACH Queen Mary Shipkicker Music Festival on June 4 includes Easton Corbin, Clare Dunn, Mo Pitney.
- Dozens of rodeos showcase the best of California Cowboy culture. Head for Red Bluff, Auburn, Lakeside, Coarsegold and Springville this month.
