Whether watching a float pass by at the Lompoc Flower Festival Parade or classic Woodies on the Santa Cruz Wharf drive away with proud owners waving to the crowds; whether buying a fragrant bouquet at Bluestone Meadow Lavender Festival in Placerville, or seeing astonished faces during a San Diego Fringe Festival act, the last week in June offers many “best bets” in festival entertainment. It’s not over … one week later 4th of July blazes into California with the most parades, the most fireworks and picnic celebrations on the planet!
