Chef Paul Gauweiler, a hard-working 80-year-old, who earned his Master Pastry Degree at 24 in Germany, still works 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, creating masterpieces enjoyed around the world from his Cake Box shop in Southern California. He loves California and compares his home to Cote d’Azur in the eastern part of the French Mediterranean, one of the many places he’s travelled to or worked.
