Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Fest Shall Have Its Day (Weekend)

There are some mighty big pumpkin festivals in California, but none takes the cake (pumpkin pie) quite like Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival with a parade, pumpkin weigh-off, contests, and tons of pumpkin fun. Be sure to say hi to Gourdy, the pumpkin festival mascot, and watch Farmer Mike, the Picasso of pumpkin carvers, transform giant pumpkins into art.

CALABASAS: Calabasas Pumpkin Festival Oct.19-20, 2019. Calabasas means “pumpkin” so this city really understands the pumpkin phenomenon. There’s pumpkin pie eating and seed spitting contests, as well as a costume parade.
