Cal Poly Pomona's 30th Annual Pumpkin Fest, a Pomona Valley tradition, features 35,000 university-grown pumpkins, live entertainment and seasonal activities.

• Gigantic pumpkin patch with pie pumpkins, ghost pumpkins, warty gourds, corn stalks and more
• Hay rides

Pumpkin prices range from $5 to $8 in the patch.   This is a ticketed event: guests must purchase an admission ticket to enter the pumpkin patch. Capacity is limited each day, and the event usually sells out.

Celebrate Halloween at our fun-filled pumpkin patch meadow, with free pumpkins, activities, and treats for the kids. Our long-standing Halloween tradition continues this year and immediately follows the Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association's annual Halloween parade, which is part of a daylong celebration that includes trick-or-treating at participating stores on the avenue. To join in the fun, head down to the end of Piedmont Avenue after the parade and proceed into the cemetery to the pumpkin patch meadow.

• Race cars must be made of real pumpkins
• The pumpkin should be the vehicle, not a roller skate or Tonka Truck
• Wheels and axles must be inserted in the pumpkin and can be made of wood, metal, vegetable, or plastic
• The width of one track is 11 inches, so the car must be no wider than that
