Legoland Kiddie Concierge Contest – Must Act Fast!

CARLSBAD, CALIF. — Photo: An entire skyline has been recreated using more than 200,000 LEGO bricks. Model Builders constructed nine buildings for guests to enjoy when they quench their thirst at the Skyline Cafe at the new Legoland Hotel.  The cityscape showcases 35 fun scenes including a woman fighting a turkey that came out of her oven, a man swimming in his apartment being chased by a shark a woman holding a banana to try and entice a monkey off her balcony.

THE GIG – Calling all youth ages 8 to 12. A contest at Legoland California invites you to write up to 50 words why you should be selected as one of the theme park’s kid concierge experts to help open the new Legoland Hotel.  Application and details are available at: LEGOLAND.com/JuniorConcierge. Deadline is Thursday, February 14, 2013.

DETAILS – Would you like the opportunity to be one of the world’s first Junior Concierges at the new LEGOLAND Hotel California Resort? A passion for LEGO and theme parks is a great start to applying for the job. A team of six children will be selected to share the Junior Concierge role across a number of different weekend dates. Each member of the Junior Concierge team will be required to stay at the hotel with a parent or guardian over the age of 21 (up to 2 adults and 2 children) for one night during key seasonal dates. The Junior Concierge may be required to take part in some promotional activity during their concierge (1) training and (2) stay at LEGOLAND Hotel at LEGOLAND California Resort.

TRANSLATION – Savvy parents with precocious and energetic kids should encourage them to apply. This job has lots of perks!
