Lumberjacks and Loggers Festivals

California has the world’s biggest, tallest and oldest trees, yet we don’t have the Lumberjack World Championships. That event is held in Wisconsin in July. Californians can still celebrate the lumberjack heritage with upcoming festivals. Paul Bunyan Days in Fort Bragg, Logging Jamboree in White Pines, Johnny Appleseed Days in Paradise and Foresthill Heritage Festival offer exciting looks at the life of lumberjacks. If you need to know what to wear to a lumberjack festival, dress in flannel and blue jeans…you can’t go wrong!
