XClamation Festival
They say XClamation Festival in Modesto is the biggest street party in the Central Valley. Now in its 15th year, the one day music festival happens on August 23, 2014 along I & J Streets and 9th through 13th Streets. A $20 admission gets you in, with room to roam and listen to bands on multiple stages. Here’s the kicker — there are more than 150 bands and DJs! The entertainment line up is huge. Though it isn’t everyone’s idea of a way to spend a Saturday, the event promises to be hot both physically and figuratively. The temperature is X-pected to hover around 90 degrees during the day but at night when it drops down to 60, there are thousands of people in close proximity to keep you warm. Millennials and boomers may be “in the house” at this outdoor event, but XClamation has Gen-X written all over it!
