California Covered with Hornblower Dining and Sunset Cruises

It's Father's Day Weekend and you don't know what to do. Take dad on a lunch or dinner cruise complete with complimentary champagne, buffet and a scenic boat ride in a bay. (There are also summer sunset cruises in several ports such as San Diego, Newport Beach and Marina del Rey.) Hornblower Cruises has California covered. If you can make it to one of these ports, you'll enjoy dining on the waterfront, with several hours of scenic bay cruise included:
San Francisco
San Diego
Old Sacramento
Long Beach
Newport Beach
Marina del Rey

We've taken the San Francisco, Marina del Rey, San Diego and Newport Beach cruises, and would be hard pressed to tell you which is the best. The photo shows the captain piloting the historic Wild Goose, a luxury yacht used by actor John Wayne. That particular craft is located in Newport Beach and is offered on some of that location's cruises.

In San Francisco you go under the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marina del Rey you travel around the harbor viewing luxury homes, in San Diego you go under the Coronado Bay bridge, and in Newport Beach you see the Balboa Pavilion, hundreds of small craft taking to the bay, and head toward the channel where you can see Corona del Mar and the two Newport Beach piers.

The trip is enjoyable for all ages, and provides a special way to celebrate someone you love...birthday, anniversary, wedding proposal, corporate, and Father's Day included! Prices for sunset cruises are quite affordable, and full dinner cruises are in the $60 and up range.
