Disneyland ToonTown for the Kid in All of Us

Anaheim, Calif.-When you visit Disneyland in Southern California, it feels like you never grow up. You can pay $100 to get into the park (kids under 2 years are free!) and the toddlers naturally gravitate to the areas of the park that provide simple pleasures such as Toon Town, filled with pint sized pleasures and lots of touchy-feely stuff for little ones to enjoy.

Sure you can grab a ride on Small World, Dumbo the Elephant, the train, horse drawn carts, and other things toddlers enjoy. But in reality, kids under 2 like to putz around and explore. And there's plenty of exploring to be had in Disneyland, designed for the kid in all of us.

When you go-buy multi-day Disney theme parkhopper passes to save bucks. Ideal for children are attractions such as the character breakfasts with Ariel or other Disney characters.

Anaheim is located in Orange County, one of the most exciting vacations in all of California. There are over 40 miles of beaches near Disneyland with favorites Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Long Beach in LA County some of the best places to stay. Boat rides go daily from Newport Beach and Long Beach to Catalina Island.
