Labor Day Weekend is filled with festivals and fun. In California there are three Greek festivals to pick from throughout the state, all offering the famous Greek food, Greek dancing and music, and crowds. People love the BBQ meats, the tasty pastries and the merriment that Greek culture introduces into the lives of non-Greeks at annual events. In northern California you can celebrate at the Belmont Greek Festival, and in the south you have your pick between events held in Lancaster and Long Beach.

We're convinced there are more Greek festivals in California this weekend, along with Polynesian, Hispanic and German as many regions launch their annual Oktoberfest season with Bavarian beers and tastes. For scrumptious food and fun, we plan to eat, drink and "think Greek" this weekend. Opa! Here are more weekend events!
