On the first Saturday of every month through March 2015 there’s a free Chantey Sing Along on the Hyde Street Pier.

Each and every California maritime museum is special in its own way. There are battleship museums, ferry building museums, and charming collections of historic artifacts housed in buildings. One of the really cool museums with free admission for National Park Service Free Admission Day is San Francisco’s Maritime Museum. It has a visitors center, a museum housed in a building once used as a bathhouse, and it has boats–small craft (more than 100 traditional and significant small craft) and big boats! Among the collection of vessels in the fleet are:
