Guest contributor Ron Singer visited Sherman Library & Gardens in Newport Beach's seaside community of Corona del Mar and snapped pictures during his visit yesterday. Sherman Library and Gardens provides a museum of living plants, displayed in an attractive setting of fountains, sculpture and well-tended shrubs and lawns. The Gardens span geographic regions around the globe from plant life of the desert to exotic vegetation of tropical climates. Displayed amidst a setting of fountains, sculptures and seasonal flowers, The Gardens provide a museum of living plants in a tranquil environment to be enjoyed for its beauty.

There's a Cactus and Succulent Garden, Tropical Conservatory with orchids, heliconias and gingers, Rose Garden, Fern Grotto exhibits, Herb Garden and even a Cafe Jardin where you can eat a leisurely lunch next to the gardens and fountains.
