California Pier Aquariums

Photos: Left - Meet the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium's  wolf eel! She was hatched at the Birch Aquarium in San Diego in March of 2011 and next went to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in San Pedro, where they gave her a good home and got her nice and healthy before sending her to Santa Monica. It's very
unusual to have an aquarium fish raised from eggs in captivity. When full grown wolf eels can be over 6 feet long. Being raised in captivity, she likes people and is very curious to see who will be bringing her her next meal.
