Laguna Beach, Calif.-- Sawdust Festival is an annual event and venue where sawdust fills the ground of the artist space at an outdoor gallery with entertainment, dining and shopping. Thousands of people attend the event each year thanks to it being open daily beginning usually the last week in June through the last week in August.

If it is hard to imagine what the place looks like, take a look at the photo and you'll see that there are mini-stores that have open, walk in stalls for easy viewing. Set in the eucalyptus trees and Laguna Canyon, the venue provides a fragrant, earthy smell as you wander and enjoy.

Pictured are artist-created purses, fine apparel hand-made by artists, framed art, ceramic vases, jewelry, and other items not shown such as blown glass art.

If you have a chance to visit and see the art, you can also take in some bands at the same time. In the summer during First Thursday Art Walk in Laguna Beach held in the evening, you may find yourself completely absorbed in the beautiful art. There are several additional art events going on at the same time.
