Huntington Beach Police Chief Ken Small's Administrative Assistant Karin Reed says: In the previous week, Huntington Beach detectives have been following up regarding an arrest by Newport Beach detectives and the series of residential burglaries in southeast Huntington Beach over the prior few weeks. Our investigations are still active. Please remember to keep diligent with your home security and maintain a good Neighborhood Watch attitude for suspicious activity. Also secure your cars throughout the day and night. If a citizen sees something they think may be suspicious, we ask they call the police and report it as soon as possible.
