Congratulations to our Newly Promoted Police Officers!
On December 22, 2011 Chief Small swore in Lieutenant Nichols who came to the Huntington Beach Police Department from the Fountain Valley Police Department in 1995. Lt. Nichols became a Sergeant in 2007, and has a Bachelor's Degree.
Sergeant Ferrin came to the Huntington Beach Police Department in 2008, from the El Segundo Police Department where he was a Sergeant. Sgt. Ferrin has a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Huntington Beach Public Works Construction Manager Eric Charlonne said:
The work on Springdale (and Warner) in Huntington Beach is both SCE performing some work and the City Utility Division doing some maintenance work.
Also The work on Edwards Street continues between Warner and Talbert (The Bottom of Edwards Hill).
Use caution when driving on the road as It's one lane in each direction.

Thank You Mayor Don Hansen, Mayor Pro Tem Devin Dwyer and Council Members Joe Carchio, Joe Shaw, Connie Boardman and Keith Bohr for their votes to deny the project. Council Member Matthew Harper voted to approve it.
