I'd like to start this Newsletter in Congratulating Johny and Debi Rickert of Huntington Beach on Their Wedding Anniversary.

The Huntington Beach Community Garden on Atlanta Avenue deserves a mention on Their Year Anniversary. Congratulations to all the members that make it happen.

Huntington Beach Police Chief Ken Small's Administrative Assistant Karin Reed says:
On March 13, 2012, Chief Ken Small swore in Officer Stefani Williams and Officer Luis Busquets as the newest police officers with the City of Huntington Beach. The swearing in was joined by their newest family, the Huntington Beach Police Department.

2011 Police Employee Awards – On February 8, 2012, the Police Department recognized the following employee's:
· Officer of the Year, Officer Trent Tunstall
· Civilian Employee of the Year, Police Services Specialist Michelle Boldt
· Supervisor of the Year, Parking/Traffic Control Supervisor Debi Pinkham

Come and shop from more than 50 Vendors from Artists to Crafter's as well as a Food Area while listening to Live Entertainment. The Petting Zoo and Pony Rides are back. Belmont Shore Chocolate Festival & Spring Sweets
1:00 - 4:00PM in Long Beach 's Second Street

Belmont Shore Businesses are offering an array of Chocolate Treats for all chocolate lovers along with other Spring Sweets to satisfy the every sweet tooth! There is no entry fee for the event, only the cost of tickets used to purchase the chocolate items. Participating so far: BJ's, La Strada, Frosted Cupcakery, Pussy & Pooch, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Taco Surf, We Olive, Sweet Jill's, Quinn's Irish Pub, Paradis, Yogurtland, Peets Coffee & Tea, NY Upper Crust Pizza, Powell's Sweet Shop, Legends, Apostrophe Books with Dove Chocolate, Thai Gourmet, Olives, Boubouffe, Chuck & Tobys, Tavern on 2, Romance Etc., Aroma Di Roma, Jones Bicycles, Dogz, Shannons, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Saturday and Sunday:
The 12th Annual Wavecrest Huntington Beachcruiser Meet is on from 9AM to 4PM (Saturday) and 9AM to 2PM (Sunday) and features 450 Beachcruisin” vehicles manufactured through 1967 - including station wagons, sedan deliveries, convertibles, VW transporters, nomads, woodies, pick-ups, trailers and other similar vehicles of the era. This popular event attracts thousands each year. All vehicles will be showcased along Main Street in downtown Huntington Beach and at Pier Plaza.
