Town of Yountville, CA

Approx. 60 miles from San Francisco Bay Area, Yountville's town of 3,000 or so residents enjoy the scenic beauty of the Napa Valley and its wine heritage. Visitors from around the globe come to experience the 5 star restaurants, sample world class wines, and enjoy what this small oasis of fine living has to offer.

A combination of rural living and jet-setting make Yountville anything but ordinary.

Yountville is an American Vitacultural Area (AVA), established by other existing or proposed AVA's in the large Napa Valley AVA-Oak Knoll district on the south, Oakville on the north, Stags Leap district on the east, and Mount Veeder on the west.

Chardonnay is the dominant of varietals in vineyards to the south where it's coolest. Merlot and Cabernet Franc do well, as does Cabernet Sauvignon in the AVA's northern portion.

Attractions include Lincoln Theater, the Napa Valley Museum, and the Historic Barrel Room at V Marketplace.
