Hollister Lights ON Parade

This is the annual event is an annual tradition with a full day of entertainment that includes a festive light parade. The rules for this parade are that all entries must contain holiday lights.

• Dec-A-Tree all day at Veterans Plaza
• Holiday Boutique 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Building
• Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus 7 p.m. $7 per photo
• Lights on Parade 5:30 p.m.

Ray Pulver of Upbeat Parade Productions is behind the magic you'll notice at this event. Parade float entries are judged for parade awards with categories that include Best of Parade, Best Use of Lights, Best Use of Theme, Best Community Group and Best Drill Dance Group.

Lights On Celebration includes the Lights Parade, a Tree Lighting Ceremony, live entertainment, photos with Santa, a gift boutique, vendor faire, car show and merchants open house.

Car entry fee is an unwrapped toy & 2 cans of food to be donated to local charities.

All entertainment before the parade takes places in front of the announcer's stages and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be taken inside the veteran's Building right after the parade.

Another great, annual event is the Hollister Renaissance Festival.
