Head over to the Christmas tree in front of Anaheim Ice at 5:45 p.m. for the annual Nutcracker Christmas Tree Lighting, part of the exciting Downtown Anaheim celebrating of the season. The day is filled with fun. Bring some money to buy a variety of unique hand-made gifts, delicious foods, and produce to take home with you. . Ring in the holidays with a very special tree lighting celebration. Join the Nutcracker Holiday Committee, the City of Anaheim, the Downtown Anaheim Association, and the Anaheim Community Foundation for holiday entertainment, food, and fun! Guests will enjoy a variety of holiday happenings including dog costume contest, holiday crafts, unique shopping, pictures with Santa, and the tree lighting at Feldhaus Circle.

Here are some tried and true helpful hints to make your Tree Lighting and Holiday Village experience more delightful:

  • Bring mittens and boots for our free snow play area.
  • Bring a camera. You will want to keep these memories!
  • Bring cash for shopping, face painting and our international food frenzy.
  • There is an ATM located on the southwest corner of CSP and Lemon.
  • Come hungry - there are tons of tasty food.

Public Parking is located in the Oak Street Parking Structures. There is also some parking in the Clementine and Center Street Promenade lot.

Anaheim Holiday Magic Tree Lighting

The evening includes holiday music, children's crafts & activities, bonfire and Santa Claus. Food available for a nominal fee. Some seating is available or you can bring your own. The West Anaheim Neighborhood Development Council, better known as WAND, annual Christmas Tree Lighting  includes Holiday music, children's crafts, photo opportunities, bonfire and visit with Santa! Dress warmly for the outdoor event. Some seating is available or you can bring your own. Food is available for a nominal fee.

For those who love arts, entertainment and culture in Anaheim, be sure to visit the annual Oktoberfest in September and October and Halloween.

There's also a delightful winter Anaheim ballet production of The Nutcracker, or when summer rolls around check out free summer concerts in public parks. A local favorite is the annual Greek Festival, and Disneyland's Halloween.
