Celebrating its 50th year in 2011, the St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church of Anaheim invites the public to its Golden Anniversary Greek Festival, the 2011 OC Greek Fest.

It's mostly about the food for those who wait all year to get some home-cooked "Greek" but there's a lot more to a Greek festival to keep families entertained. The Anaheim event includes children dressed in festive, traditional costumes, dancing for the adults, music and shopping at vendor booths.

Authentic Greek foods and homemade Greek pastries; traditional Greek dancing and Greek music; an outdoor marketplace and expansive "Zorba's Kidz Zone" with carnival rides & games and other children's activities--are all ready for your visit to Greece in Anaheim.

For those who love arts, entertainment and culture in Anaheim, be sure to visit the  annual  Oktoberfest in September and October and free Halloween or  Disneyland's  ticketed Halloween.   There's also a delightful winter Anaheim ballet production of The Nutcracker, or when summer rolls around check out free summer concerts in public parks. There's also a delightful winter  community tree lighting ceremony.
