Join the community at the Sunken Garden and listen to the Atascadero Community Band perform holiday favorites before the annual tree lighting ceremony. Also be sure to visit Santa Claus after the ceremony! Then head downtown for shop & sip events such as complimentary Model-A-Firetruck & Hay Rides, hot chocolate, and more!

  of the Sunken Gardens and Historic City Hall
• Santa Arrives around 6:15 p.m. after he & Mrs. Claus cruise around downtown in a Model A Firetruck

The City of Atascadero Lights up the downtown at an annual illumination at the Sunken Gardens. This Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony usually gets into full swing around 6 p.m.

Be sure to bring their cameras for heart-warming picture-taking. Hot chocolate may be on the menu, too, to warm your body & spirits.
