Atascadero, California Holiday Tree Lighting

ATASCADERO Tree Lighting Ceremony December 6, 2013, 6 p.m.

Join the community at the Sunken Garden and listen to the Atascadero Community Band perform holiday favorites before the annual tree lighting ceremony. Also be sure to visit Santa Claus after the ceremony!

The City of Atascadero Lights up the downtown at an annual illumination at the Sunken Gardens.  This  Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony usually gets into full swing around 6 p.m. 

Santa Claus greets children at the Christmas Castle after the tree  lighting ceremony so parents should be sure to bring their cameras for heart-warming picture-taking.

Help usher in the Holiday Spirit at the Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. You can enjoy local musical performance groups by the Atascadero High School Show & Concert Choirs and the Atascadero Community Band as they play and sing a variety of Holiday songs while everyone awaits the lighting of the trees and arrival of Santa Claus at the Christmas Castle.

December 7, 2013, 5:30-8:30 p.m.  The Walk Around the Lake

If you havenít experienced this event, you donít want to miss it. Join us as we walk around the Lake in the evening, enjoying all the holiday lights along the way. There are also many entertainment venues, including music and carolers, and the City has the booth at the west end of the Lake with food and a bon fire to keep you warm. Includes marching band and free zoo night in 2013.

December 13, 2013, 5-9 p.m.  The Main St. Association Winter Wonderland held Downtown. There will be twice as much snow as last year and even more to do than last year!

Children can line up to see Santa while sipping some hot chocolate served by the Teens At Work.

Enjoy food, fine wine, art, music and good fellowship with friendly merchants of the Central Coast. Tour the shops, meet artists and spend the evening walking around the Historic Colony District.

Atascadero is a Central Coast destination filled with warm hospitality that invites guests to come, sip the wine and stay a while.  Other events in addition to Farmers Market include the Halloween celebrations in town and at the Zoo.
