  The 10th Annual event at California Living Museum features a holiday lights extravaganza among all native-Kern County plants and trees.  Light shows are held with music, providing a magical, entertaining celebration with lots to see, do and taste. 

Santa is available for pictures.

There are train rides a carousel, and food available with seating on grassy knoll.

 Museum store is also open for souvenir shopping. 

HolidayLights at CALM has hosted more than 400,000 guests who have marveled at 2 million lights and 60+ light displays. The hours for HolidayLights at CALM are 5:30-9 p.m. and will run November 30 through December 31. The event is closed Christmas. Admission prices are adults-$12; seniors (60+)-$10; youth (13-17 years)-$10; children (3-12 years) $6; and children under three years are free. Other than paid admissions, only HolidayLights coupons, discounts and passes will be accepted. CALM members will receive a 50 per cent discount. Groups of 20 or more will receive the group rate of $2 off each ticket purchased. Parking is free. Discounts for tickets purchased Monday through Thursday will again be offered. Each ticket category will be $2 off; however, tickets cannot be pre-sold (for these evenings) and must be purchased at the gate. This offer ends December 13. The show, presented by CALM and the CALM Foundation, will add new displays, however; favorites such as the Sea Life scene, Kern County icons, Winter Wonderland, Dinosaurs and the California Wildlife display are returning crowd pleasers. Food service will be provided by Teen Challenge and will feature an expanded menu—including those fantastic apple dumplings! However, you are also welcome to bring your own treats and picnic amongst the lights. Your company, organization or family can reserve the Teen Challenge catering tent for a private party. You will be able to choose from a gourmet dinner to light hors d’oeuvres. Teen Challenge has extensive catering experience to meet any menu requests.
