Joy Around the World: Festival of Holidays and Tree Lighting is a community celebration with Christmas gift shopping opportunities. The Boutique and Farmers Market is held 3-7 p.m. Musical performances in the City Hall Plaza and The Tree Lighting ceremony are free, public invited!

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is an annual event held on the first or second Thursday in December at City Hall Plaza. It includes Candy Cane Kid Zone with free kids activities, face painting, arts & crafts, games and more. At Santa's Village kids can visit with Santa Claus. Don't forget to bring your camera!

Musical Performances include schools and community groups performing holiday themed music.

The Holiday Tree Lighting countdown with the mayor and City Council officially lighting of the beautifully decorated holiday tree is a special tradition you won't want to miss.

Other seasonal events that are held annually in El Segundo include Easter Egg Hunt at Recreation Park, summer concert series in Library Park and Halloween which features great downtown Main Street Trick or Treating.
