The evening celebration invites the public to share in the gratitude to those who make the city great by enjoying live performances, community booths, vendors, arts & crafts, hayrides and a very special guest to light the tree. The Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. The Annual Holiday Parade used to be held on the same evening afterwards but this year it's different.

Other events include a Halloween celebrations, and a summer concert series.
