The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony (at 5:15 p.m.) and Candlelight Choir Procession Special City Events takes place at Plaza Park. It offers an evening of holiday cheer and family fun with angelic sounds of a choir & full orchestra led by Michael Short.

 The 31st Annual City of Orange Tree Lighting and Candlelight Procession at the City of Orange Plaza Park will be attended by over 5,000 residents, friends, and local dignitaries. The Orange Community Master Chorale along with high school and local church choirs.

Join the City of Orange at Old Towne Plaza for an evening of holiday cheer and family fun to sing traditional carols of the season. Local non-profit groups provide delicious food and youth activities for a nominal charge.

Other exciting and fun community events include the Orange summer concerts, Halloween at Irvine Railroad Pumpkin Patch, and tree lighting ceremony in Old Towne.
