Concerts in the Park are solely supported by generous area businesses and concert patrons.
Lakewood loves Thursday evenings during the summer at Del Valle Park. That's when Concerts in the Park brings the community together for music, dance, and celebration. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Pack a picnic basket, or buy food and refreshments at the park from a Lakewood community group. Music this summer includes R&B, Country, 80's, Classic Rock and more. Bring low back lawn chairs, blankets to spread on the ground, and picnics if you like. No alcohol, BBQs or pets.

A 15-minute professional aerial fireworks display launches from 340 Faculty Avenue. Lakewood Civic Center rocks with hours of live musical performances, a Family Fun Zone and the Taste of Lakewood with food vendors selling all sorts of fare. The Family Fun Zone features a mechanical bull, wrecking ball, giant slide, adrenaline obstacle course, bouncers, joust war game, rock climbing wall, mechanical cars and trackless train.

Free shuttle service on Saturday runs every 15 minutes from Lakewood City Hall (Clark/Del Amo) east parking lot to the Pan Am Fiesta entrance.
