Central Park Music Series is a signature summer event that brings you eight evenings of free live music every Thursday evening. Music lovers of all ages gather in Central Park each week for a night of music, dancing, food, and fun! Come join this popular  showcase of the Bay Area music scene.

San Mateo City Parks and Recreation Foundation will be selling beer and wine at the concerts!

4th of July in the Park

Celebrate red, white, and blue with a special concert on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Band: Vibe Society (Party Mix)

Family fun activities start at 11 a.m. Crafts are given out on a first come first serve basis and while supplies last. Inflatables Lines for bounce house and obstacle course will be closed starting as early as 1:15pm to end by 2 p.m. Rock Wall The rock wall line opens at 11 a.m. and closes as early as 1:15 p.m. as the event is over at 2 p.m. Parents/guardians will need to complete a waiver prior to participation.  Food Trucks will be selling food onsite.

In the spring, you can hop into action as the Egg Hunts invite the community youth to search for the hidden eggs.
